To support our global Distribution Sales Team, we are seeking a colleague located remotely in UK/ Ireland as

Distribution Regional Sales Manager (m/f) Europe

Being the Distribution Regional Sales Manager (m/f) at Viking Pump you are responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with our key customers in Europe, where you market our highly customized pumps to grow market share and to serve a vast variety of industries.


Grow sales revenues, increase our market share in Europe and build relationships with key customers in the territory
Manage project activity including product offering, recommend pricing levels and establish sales strategy while following company policies and objectives
Make recommendations for new distributors (primary or niche) in Europe
Manage distributor handled OEM’s, targeted A&E firms and contractors
Develop and implement strategies for displacement of competition at new and existing targeted accounts
Provide the company with new product ideas, market trends, territory market data, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence


Completed university degree in marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Technology or equivalent education
Profound work experience in international industrial field sales and Distribution Sales
Sound technical understanding of hydraulics and fluid system processes. Experience with pump systems is highly desired
Experience with database programs and CRM systems
Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills. Strong relationship building skills and a problem-solving mentality
Business fluent language skills in German and English Other European language skills are a plus
Willingness to travel internationally
