Bungartz: A functional pump model at Chemtech, Mumbai

Friday, January 13th, 2017 von admin

Chemtech World Expo – February 14-17, 2017 – is one of the largest events for the chemical industry. 600 exhibitors from 20 countries expect up to 40,000 visitors. At the same time eight international conferences and about 150 speakers are offered. In the German pavilion, the German community stand, organized by the VDMA, the company Bungartz will present the concepts of its problem-solver pumps at stand C6A, which also have a high intrinsic safety:

  • Wear and corrosion resistant pumps for the fertilizer industry
  • Pumps with hydrodynamic shaft seal
  • Continuously dry running magnetic driven pumps for liquids with large solids contents
  • Cavitation-free pumps with an NPSH value <0.1m

Sulzer Extends the High-Efficiency Water Pump Range

Friday, September 23rd, 2016 von admin

smd_small_fullSulzer introduces an extension to the SMD axially split pump range towards lower flows and implements a higher level of standardization for cost-effective solutions and short delivery times. The SMD pump range is developed for a wide range of high-volume flow applications where raw, clean, sea, or brackish water is pumped. Such applications are water abstraction, water transport, desalination, water treatment, supply, and distribution. The pumps can also be used for firefighting, drainage, or distribution of heating and cooling media in residential and industrial systems.

Sundyne: New low NPSHr, high-flow pump

Thursday, January 14th, 2016 von admin

sundyneThe Sundyne LMV-803Lr is an API 610 compliant pump available in either OH3 or OH5 motor mounting configuration that provides ultra-low NPSHr performance – approximately 5 ft (1.5 m), across the entire performance range – for flows to 800 GPM (180 m³ / hr) and heads to 1,000 ft (305 m).

The ultra-low NPSHr allows the pump to be installed at grade level, eliminating the expense of installation in a pit and performing maintenance in a confined space. The vertical design is ideal for use in refineries, NGL, petrochemical and chemical plants, as well as handling light hydrocarbon handling services, such as bottom pumps for de-ethanizers.

Global Pump, Etanorm,

Actually KSB is launching the latest generation of its Etanorm series, which has been produced non-stop since 1936. The type series of the new generation comprises 43 pump sizes, which can be driven by either 2-pole or 4-pole motors. The selection chart has been extended by additional pump sizes, so that sizes can be selected even closer to the best efficiency point. The Eta type series is the global best-seller among standardised water pumps. Since 1936 more than 1.5 million Eta pumps have been produced worldwide.

Hermetically sealed twin- screw pump with magnetic coupling

Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 von admin

A hermetically sealed twin- screw pump expands the comprehensive product program from  Bornemann. This is a pump with contactless rotating elements and media-lubricated bearings, which can also be used with media that are low-lubricating. The pump is hermetically sealed by a magnetic coupling. As such, the advantages that speak in favour of using a “seal-free” pump can now be combined with the advantages of the proven Bornemann 2-spindle technology. A version is also optionally available with mechanical seal, for extreme application conditions.
