Colfax Fluid Handling has been awarded a contract as the exclusive supplier of hydraulic pumps for a ship capable of lifting the topside structures from offshore platforms. With a lifting capacity of up to 48,000 t, the ship will remove topsides in one piece and transport them to land for deconstruction. The screw pumps are valued at € 600,000 and are specially designed to deliver the high pumping capacity needed for the project.
Colfax Fluid Handling has received an order to deliver 21 of its Allweiler screw pumps valued at more than EUR 300,000 for a power plant in Saudi Arabia. The pumps will be an important part of a gas turbine power plant in Yanbu.
