Mouvex Celebrates 110 Years of Eccentric Disc Pump

Monday, November 21st, 2016 von admin

Headquartered in Auxerre, France, Mouvex was founded in 1906 by engineer André Petit when he identified the challenges that gear and lobe pump users were facing in optimizing their process and invented the eccentric disc pump as a result. Since that time, Mouvex has become a worldwide leader in positive displacement pumps and compressors for the transfer of liquids and dry bulk products within the hygienic, chemical, energy, military and transport industries. Mouvex became part of PSG in 2008, and now has operations on five continents with a global network of distributors and original equipment manufacturers.

Blackmer: 4-Inch Sliding Vane Pump

Monday, September 8th, 2014 von admin

Blackmer_XLW (2)This 4-inch pump is an extension of Blackmer’s XLW Series. These pumps have been designed to perform in the handling and transfer of a variety of abrasive liquids, including oxide primers, inks and paints, where wear-resistance is critical to pump operation. These pumps have also shown to be successful in applications such as vertical and horizontal bead mills, solvent recovery, tank-bottom recirculation, heat-treater supply, enhanced oil recovery, and crude- or hot-oil transfer.

The new XLW4A model features hardened rotor and shaft, liner, end discs and vanes for long life and optimized wear-resistance. These hardened internal parts allow the pump to be used with liquids featuring suspended abrasive particles up to 250 microns in size and at a concentration up to 25%.

Mouvex: Eccentric disc pumps in oil & gas industry

Monday, January 13th, 2014 von admin

Mouvex Pompe A 31Mouvex A Series eccentric disc pumps are now available in ductile iron construction – a critical upgrade as more companies in the oil & gas industry are integrating ductile iron systems into their processes. Additional upgrades to Mouvex’s A Series pumps includes the implementation of ISO PN16/ANSI 150 flanges while offering both Mouvex or standardized mechanical seals, which helps expedite installations regardless of location. A Series pumps also doubled its maximum differential pressure from 5 bar (72 psi) to 10 bar (145 psi), enabling it to be used in the safe transfer of viscous, non-lubricating, volatile or delicate fluids in a variety of oil & gas applications.

Mouvex: Eccentric Disc Pumps for Isocyanates

Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 von admin

Mouvex_SLC-Series

Isocyanates require a pump that handles product gently (low shearing), has strong suction capability, and offers a low-maintenance wear-compensation design. The SLC Series Eccentric Disc Pump features superior suction at low speeds, ensuring minimum product is left in the piping prior to maintenance. The design of the SLC Series allows the pump to self-compensate for mechanical wear, giving the eccentric disc pump the ability to maintain consistent flow rates over time.
