KSB: New in-line pumps for building services

Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 von admin

Etaline LThe new Etaline L are small close-coupled pumps in in-line design. They are available in 12 hydraulic sizes with motors from 0.12 to 3.0 kW. The pump series covers flow rates of up to 95 m³/h and discharge heads of up to 21 metres.

The cast casings and the mechanical seals are designed for operating pressures of up to 10 bar. The connections at the suction nozzle and discharge nozzle can be either flanged or threaded, depending on the size. A confined O-ring reliably seals the casing, also in fluctuating operating conditions.

KSB: New drinking water circulators

Monday, February 15th, 2016 von admin

160127_CalioTherm_0033The new high-efficiency circulators of the Calio-Therm S NC series are maintenance-free glandless pumps designed for pumping drinking water in closed circuits, which are commonly found in single-family or two-family houses as well as in larger building projects.
Like the other Calio pumps the new circulators offer a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor to achieve top efficiencies. With one-touch operation the flow rate can be adjusted via three speed levels. In the event of a blocked rotor the motor stops automatically, and a fault is indicated. Three LEDs display the operating status. The screwed connections are available in dimension Rp ½ internal thread (EN 10266) or G 1 ¼ external thread (DIN ISO 228). The maximum flow rate equals 0.7 m³/h. The pump’s maximum head is 1.0 m. The drinking water temperature should measure between +5 °C and +65 °C.

KSB: Software for building services consultants

Thursday, April 10th, 2014 von admin

KSB presented a new selection program called KSBase Consult Building. It enables the simple hydraulic selection of pumps and valves for all important fluid circuits in building services systems and, at the same time, creates the corresponding tender texts. Consequently, it is a program that covers both pumps and valves.

KSB: Motor-mounted speed control system for centrifugal pumps

Thursday, February 13th, 2014 von admin

KSB_PumpDrive_EcoThe latest version of the “motor-mounted” speed control system for centrifugal pumps was designed specifically to cater to heating and air-conditioning applications. The system makes it possible to reduce energy costs by matching pump output to actual demand. The parameters of PumpDrive Eco are set at the factory based on the specific pump and motor data. This reduces the time required for commissioning the unit.

KSB: New powerful in-line pumps for building services applications

Monday, February 10th, 2014 von admin

KSB_Etaline“Energy-efficiency was the development engineers’ number one focus” as KSB annouced.”They worked intensively with CFD (computational fluid dynamics) for flow simulation to optimise the hydraulic shape of suction elbow, volute casing and impellers. All pump sets now meet the requirements of the ErP Directive, effective as from 2015, and their suction characteristics exceed those of the previous pump generation.”

The new Etaline type series comprises 22 pump sizes and its maximum motor rating is 55 kW. The maximum flow rate is 700 m³/h with the maximum discharge head possible being 95 metres.

DAB: Evosta Circulator adapts to any space

Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 von admin

dabWith Evosta, this Italian manufacturer completes the Evo series ranging from Evotron to Evoplus. This version is specifically designed for the needs of heating systems and adjusted on basic needs. Primarily conceived for residential applications, given its small size and peculiar characteristics, the youngest of the Dab family is the new entry of the electronic series – a single product that is an alternative to a wide range of products on the market, with a pressure from 4 to 7 meters, available with different system connection configurations. Evosta, created to offer maximum versatility, is perfectly interchangeable with the previous traditional 3-speed circulator series.

KSB launches promotion programme for building services

Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 von admin

KSB_Etaline_freistehendIn combination with a PumpDrive speed control system, the SuPremE motors designed and produced by KSB satisfy all IE4 efficiency requirements (to IEC [CD] 60034-30 Ed. 2). This makes them a lot better already than what is required by EU law for 2017. In order to make this CO2-friendly technology available without delay for building services systems, Frankenthal-based pump manufacturer KSB is launching a special promotion programme. From 1 October 2013, all Etaline variable speed in-line pumps with power ratings from 0.55 kW up to and including 18.5 kW will be supplied with SuPremE motors instead of the previous IE2 motors at no extra charge.

KSB takes over Danish pump manufacturer

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 von admin

On 16 February 2012, KSB took over an eighty percent share in Copenhagen-based T. Smedegaard A/S. The company, established in 1942 and with a workforce of around 80, manufactures the type of circulating pump used above all in heating systems. It has two production sites, one in Denmark and one in Switzerland, as well as business locations in the United Kingdom and Sweden.

KSB: Miniature waste water lifting unit

Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 von admin

KSB introduce a new generation of its waste water lifting units. Its compact design, i.e. a triangle-shaped mini tank, and the low height make Ama-Drainer-Box Mini not only a visual highlight but also a space-saving and stable solution. The tank is equipped with a wall mount on the back so the unit can be directly fitted to the wall, for example, under the washbasin.
