Grundfos is expanding in India

Grundfos takes another important step in India with the opening of a new plant in Dantali, Gujarat. From here, Grundfos is going to produce and ship boosters and boxed products to  customers in the Northern regions of India, and it will supply the global Grundfos operations organization with stainless steel components.

“This is also a significant strategic move in the important Indian market. We strengthen our presence and closeness to customers in this region, and we establish ourselves in the vibrant and green frontrunner state Gujarat,” said Stéphane Simonetta, Group Executive Vice President and COO.


Kirloskar: Innovations at Ifat India 2016, Mumbai

Ifat India is the country’s leading environmental trade fair for water, sewage, refuse and recycling. The 2016 edition will take place in Mumbai during September 28 – 30, 2016 from 10 am to 5 pm at Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC). KBL will put a spotlight on its innovative range of products such as auto prime pumps, Concrete Volume Pumps (CVPs), Low Lifecycle Cost (LLC) pumps, vertical turbine pumps and Hydro-Pneumatic (HYPN) system and valves.


KEPL: Pumps for highly critical refinery application

IMAG1498KEPL has shipped the first set “5-stage BB3” pumps to Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) for J3 Project at Jamnagar in Gujarat, India. API 610 standard BB3 pumps are Between Bearing Axially-Split case pump.

BB3 pumps are designed for high temperature and high pressure fluid transfer applications. Its near-centreline mounting design makes the BB3 pump suitable for various refinery applications subjected to the ISO or API criteria for flammable hydrocarbons. The pumping temperatures range for the BB3 Pump is from 5 degree Celsius to 200 degree Celsius and its capacity is upto 2500 m³/h.

Global fluid management solutions Kirloskar Brothers has taken its Engineering capabilities and expertise to the shores of Nile in Egypt. For over 50 years Kirloskar Brothers has had a strong presence in Egypt where it recently set two major pumping stations on the banks of the Nile River. Kirloskar Brothers envisages great potential in this region and has chalked out a blue print to leverage the business further. The company has set up a mammoth 10,000 sq meters facility in Cairo under its subsidiary SPP Pumps MENA LLC.
