Paul Bungartz, who died in 1972, was not only the founder and namesake of today’s world-renowned pump manufacturer. In the 1930s, Paul Bungartz had already patented the hydrodynamic seal for his special centrifugal pumps. Since then, the special pumps have been custom-designed, engineered and manufactured for the respective application. Whereby the locations in Germany have remained: Düsseldorf as the headquarters of the administration, the development, design, sales and administration departments, as well as the production in state-of-the-art halls on the company’s own premises in Euskirchen-Stotzheim.
The father of the current managing director, Jürgen Bungartz, had already begun to modernize the company and establish contemporary structures. With foresight, he had initiated and implemented various expansions and conversions in Düsseldorf and Euskirchen. Jürgen Bungartz passed away in 2015.
The strategy of combining the tried and tested with the new was continued by his son Frank. The best example is the rotary piston pump launched on the market in 2022. It is low-pulsation, energy-efficient and designed to reduce emissions. Like the proven MPCV/ MPCT /MPCH series, this pump is also hermetically sealed.
With Frank Bungartz, the internationalization and modernization of the family business began more than 15 years ago. Today, Bungartz is represented by competent sales partners on all important continents. 75 years of experience with self-regulating, cavitation-free pumps, which are characterized by high intrinsic safety, and a comprehensive spare parts service are thus guaranteed worldwide. To mark the anniversary, there will be an internal celebration for all former and current employees and their families. At the in-house exhibition (September 14-16, 2022) for customers and interested parties, in cooperation with Lewa, Hermetic, Richter and Witte the pumps of the manufacturer Bungartz will also be presented as functional models in the training center in Euskirchen.
