The Germany based Bungartz company will present at Achema 2022 in Frankfurt a new rotary piston pump. It combines the advantages of various already well-known technologies. At the same time, it is low in pulsation and hermetically sealed. The novel design, in which the torque of the outer shaft is transmitted to the pistons by magnets, reduces the pump’s maintenance requirements. The fields of application of the new pump are numerous:
- toxic,
- corrosive or
- viscous liquids
- shear-sensitive and
- explosive materials
are conveyed safely.
On the other hand – Bungartz will present at Achema an innovation for the MOR/MOR horizontal centrifugal pumps, which have been in production since the 1930s: the prototype of a completely revised centrifugally controlled standstill seal, which is intended to further minimize the inevitable small leakage during standstill in the future.
