CFturbo 10.4 can be used to design

  • axial, radial and mixed-flow pumps (and of course as well for fans, blowers, compressors and turbines) and
  • diffusers,
  • stators,
  • return channels and
  • volutes including secondary flow path modeling.

According to an information of CFturbo the new features include “a bi-directional, parametric integration into Ansys Workbench, elliptical cross-section shapes for volutes, export interfaces to Parasolid and hyperMill, a direct path to the Coolprop library for real gas behavior, easier access to parametric batch mode optimization, and numerous other enhancements.”
