Triple the service life by a stator adjustment unit

The xLC unit was added to the product portfolio of the Nemo progressing cavity pump from Netzsch. This triples the service life of the pump, particularly when conveying difficult, abrasive media. When wear occurs in the rotor-stator system, this new unit allows the performance of the pump to be re-established by adjusting the preload between the conveyor elements.

Tailor-made Slurry Pumping Solutions

After the took over of almost complete solid matter pump programme for abrasive and abrasive/corrosive media from the insolvent company Arthur Habermann the Aurum Pumpen GmbH has set itself the objective of improving both the design and the materials engineering of its pump series. In initial orders for a major customer, newly designed pump solutions have already been developed, implemented and built.

Because the Aurum-Habermann heavy duty pumps are true solids handling pumps in terms of impeller geometry and design, these cannot conform to the lightweight construction of a standardised pump, and are thus individually adapted to requirements. In terms of materials, Aurum supplies the Habermann heat-treated steel qualities that have proven themselves over decades.

Durit: Increasing wear protection, reducing maintenance costs

DuritImage_2015_04Pumping of abrasive slurry or chemical reagents demand for maximum efficiency and work pace increasing wear of the applied components and thus all associated maintenance costs in pump technology as well. More and more frequently, seal and packing rings of pumps are made of ttungsten carbide – a sinter material. Additional fields of application for tungsten carbide components in pump engineering include

  • rotors,
  • control elements,
  • bearing sleeves,
  • plain bearings,
  • and hubs,

which are exposed to abrasive media.

Atlas Copco: Small pump range for the American market with 60Hz variants

New additions to the Weda electric submersible pumps range are 1 HP and under, c-UL-us approved, 60Hz single-phase drainage, sludge and residual pumps. They come in two voltage variants, 115V and 230V, and join the 50Hz range.  Each of the Weda electric submersible pumps is now available in a 50Hz and a 60Hz version. The range consists of the Weda 04 and Weda 08 drainage pumps, the Weda 04B residual pump and the Weda 04S and 08S sludge/trash pumps.
