Turbolab are plug-and-play high vacuum pump systems This new generation is built on one basic design platform with the opportunity to create several different variants. The systems are compact, fully assembled, and ready-to-operate. Different configurations cover the individual vacuum demands of a wide range of applications in the R&D and analytical market. Due to the oil-free hybrid bearing design of the new Turbovac i/iX turbo pumps featured in these systems, and by using different dry compressing backing pump combinations, hydrocarbon free pump system operation is guaranteed.

Even after selling the company again in 1970, his vision remained. One of the most important mile stones in the company’s history is the development of the molecular pump by physicist Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Gaede.
Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum celebrates the completion of a decade of its Indian subsidiary. Although vacuum technologies from Leybold Vacuum had been present in the Indian market before, the subsidiary was founded to deepen the engagement with local market. Since inception, the focus has been on offering complete application support along with an augmented service portfolio.
The order of a Chinese company includes the manufacturing of a batch of cryogenic vacuum pumps of the series Coolvac for the evacuation of space simulation chambers. These pumps with a flange diameter of 1.3 m anr pumping at rate of 60,000 litres per second for nitrogen. Cryo pumps are used wherever very large vacuum chambers need to be evacuated very rapidly to extremely low pressures, offering high pumping rates and an attainable vacuum of down to 10-12 mbar.
The Nash 2BE5 has been launched to build on the 2BE4 series. The development goal was to optimize and extend the performance the vacuum range below 300 mbar abs. The result: The new 2BE5 series pumps are able to achieve vacuum levels down to 100 mbar abs. This is made possible primarily by optimization of the gas flow. The patented gas scavenger provides increased vacuum capacity and, consequently, a significant improvement in terms of efficiency. Compared to the basic 2BE4 model, water consumption in the once-through mode has been reduced by up to 25%. Improved fluid self-recirculation eliminates the need for booster pumps.
Within the various application of coatings for architectural glass and large area coatings as such, the demand for high-quality functional glass is soaring, especially for Low-E glass in functional combinations with other glass types. The requirements for the manufacturing of such quality glasses are high and heavily dependent on the quality of the vacuum processes involved. At the Glasstec Exhibition in Duesseldorf, Germany 21-24-October 2014, Hall 12, Booth F37, Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum will show its specialized products covering the fore vacuum and the high vacuum range of the production chain.
In all processes for steel degassing under vacuum gases and vapors are formed that might be dangerous. Essentially CO and H2 as well as the vapors of volatile metals are released from the steel surface. Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum presents a new line of turbo molecular pumps with integrated drive electronics. The new pumps of the Turbovac i product line consistently offer a pumping speed for light gases which is up to 60% above that of comparative pumps, and a compression level which is approximately 100 times higher compared to products of the previous generation. These pumps were designed especially for processes with small backing pumps. The Turbovac T 350 i and T 450 i designed with classic rotors excel with regard to high gas throughput, fast run-up time and insensitivity to particulates and are therefore optimized for process applications and high gas loads. The Turbovac 350-400 i Multi Inlet pumps have been specifically developed to meet the requirements of analytical instrumentation by offering an extremely high degree of flexibility and allowing the customization of the number, height and position of the vacuum connections. Additionally, there is the option of adapting the pump housing or customizing the pump to your specific vacuum chamber.
