Triple the service life by a stator adjustment unit

Thursday, April 26th, 2018 von admin

The xLC unit was added to the product portfolio of the Nemo progressing cavity pump from Netzsch. This triples the service life of the pump, particularly when conveying difficult, abrasive media. When wear occurs in the rotor-stator system, this new unit allows the performance of the pump to be re-established by adjusting the preload between the conveyor elements.

Pumping sparkling wine without foaming

Friday, March 16th, 2018 von admin

CO2 increases the tendency of the beverage to foam, which impairs the quality of the goods. An Italian winery has therefore been using a particularly low-pulsation, hygienically safe rotary lobe pump of German manufacturer Netzsch.

This T.Sano pump guarantees not only the desired pressure over the entire pumping distance – and thus the quality of the wine – but also reliably prevents the un-wanted development of foam. In this way, more precise dosing and better barrel emptying is achieved.

Hygienic rotary lobe pump with smooth housing

Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 von admin

The smooth design of the rotary lobe T.Sano series means a completely smooth housing which attracts barely any dirt or dust. This design has been specially developed for the hygiene and food industry, because not only the materials and the cleanability of the pump chamber are subject to strict requirements in the food industry, the outer contours are also taken into account. Ideally, the design of the pump housing must have no rough edges or dead spaces to make sure that no contamination can set.

Simplified servicing in beneficiation plant

Thursday, November 16th, 2017 von admin

Until January 2017, a copper beneficiation plant in Zambia was using pumps from six different manufacturers, including units from Netzsch. Attributable to the large number of different models, this resulted in a steadily growing inventory of similar spare parts and maintenance procedures. Thereby, the effort and costs for necessary maintenance of the pumps were constantly increasing as a result. Following a thorough review of the reliability and service life of its pumps, the plant operator decided to simplify its spare parts inventory and maintenance – and only use pumps from Netzsch as a single supplier.

The Zambian company replaced 36 pumps for polymer applications and saved 1 million dollars by reducing its spare parts inventory as well.

Netzsch at drinktec: New design of hygienic rotary lobe pump

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 von admin

The new design of the Tornado rotary lobe T.Sano has a completely smooth housing compared to the previous model, which attracts barely any dirt or dust. The range of the  rotary lobe pump T2 all-metal is interesting for food manufacturers due to its lack of dead space and also due to its oil-free design and operation. This pump is driven by a tooth belt drive, whereby the lobes are simultaneously synchronized. This technology is absolutely oil-free and maintenance-free.

Netzsch: Maintenance of progressing cavity pumps with minimum effort

Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 von admin

Explosionsbild FSIPNetzsch has developed the “Full Service in Place” (FSIP) concept for pump systems – constituting an inconspicuous but essential process element in many applications. This makes interventions in the pump equipment possible without dismantling from the piping. This approach has proven itself in practice already for several years with the Tornado T2 rotary lobe pumps, and a FSIP version of the progressing cavity pump will now be introduced as well. The new design saves time on inspection, repair and cleaning work while even reducing the required installation space.
