Headquartered in Auxerre, France, Mouvex was founded in 1906 by engineer André Petit when he identified the challenges that gear and lobe pump users were facing in optimizing their process and invented the eccentric disc pump as a result. Since that time, Mouvex has become a worldwide leader in positive displacement pumps and compressors for the transfer of liquids and dry bulk products within the hygienic, chemical, energy, military and transport industries. Mouvex became part of PSG in 2008, and now has operations on five continents with a global network of distributors and original equipment manufacturers.

The new A6 model has been designed to replace existing Mouvex AF O pumps for industrial applications involving both thin and viscous liquids.
These eccentric disc pumps got a variety of upgrades to meet growing global demand, including the implementation of ISO PN16/ANSI 150 flanges. The A Series has also doubled its maximum differential pressure from 5 bar (72 psi) to 10 bar (145 psi), enabling it to be used in the safe transfer of viscous, non-lubricating, volatile or delicate fluids in a variety of new applications.
Isocyanates require a pump that handles product gently (low shearing), has strong suction capability, and offers a low-maintenance wear-compensation design. The SLC Series Eccentric Disc Pump features superior suction at low speeds, ensuring minimum product is left in the piping prior to maintenance. The design of the SLC Series allows the pump to self-compensate for mechanical wear, giving the eccentric disc pump the ability to maintain consistent flow rates over time.
