AODD pumps with a solid plastic design

The new C-Series pumps have been specifically developed by Almatec to be a cost-effective alternative. The housing parts are tightened to each other via housing bolts. All of the C-Series’ bolts are tightened together against a diaphragm-sized ring on each side of the pump.

This design distributes the forces of the housing bolts onto the housing parts evenly, providing a consistent flow of forces that increases bolt torque and improves pump safety.

Innovations for wastewater pumping

At the previous Ifat, Swiss company Egger presented a further development of their completely retracted Turo centrifugal impeller TA for raw sewage conveyance. To date, a large number of pumping stations that are burdened with high solid loads (such as fibrous materials, wet wipes, etc.) have been successfully equipped with them. Blockages could be eliminated or – under extreme load – reduced to a minimum.

At Ifat 2018, the company is now presenting a low-clog and 100% dry-running-safe centrifugal pump hydraulic system. A further development of the Eurodyn hydrodynamic shaft seal in conjunction with Turo Vortex hydraulics makes absolutely dry-run safe use possible. The pump hydraulics and shaft seal operate completely contact-free. In the case of wastewater pumping operations that comply with the regulations, the pump set as designed by Egger enables 4-years of maintenance-free operation.

Wilden: 13 mm (½”) Clamped Metal Pump

This 13 mm (½”) clamped metal AODD pump PS1 is equipped with the energy-efficient Pro-Flo Shift Air Distribution System and its clamped configuration allows for easier maintenance, diaphragm replacement and cleaning.

The footprint of this AODD pump matches that of the Wilden PX1, which enables direct replacement of a PX1 with no repiping necessary. With less components and 7% more efficient than the PX1, the backward capability of the PS1 makes it an easy way to enhance and upgrade existing pump performance.

Richter expanded RMA series

The RMA series of magnetic drive pumps have been expanded by the new size RMA 4x3x10H. This pump offers increased flow capacity and delivery heights.  The compact pump size with optimized hydraulic system for high flow rates is particularly targeted for North American pump users. The external dimensions per ASME / ANSI and the custom hydraulic system have been developed with interchangeability in mind.  This allows for easy replacement of existing pumps without major installation hassle.
