Almatec: High-Pressure Pump Series

Almatec-AHD_AHS SeriesThis new high-pressure pump series AHD/AHS are developed for applications up to 15 bar (218 psig) such as filter press applications.

The “D” in AHD stands for Duplex, which means the reinforcement of the drive pressure is more than 2:1 by the internal pressure boosting stage. This is achieved thanks to a maximum drive pressure of 7 bar (100 psig), which allows the AHD to build up discharge pressures up to 15 bar (218 psig). AHD Series pumps are available in three sizes (AHD 15, 25 and 40) with maximum capacities of 4, 10 and 20 m3/h (17, 44 and 87 gpm).

The new AHS Series, which does not include an internal pressure booster, features an extremely rugged housing making it suitable for higher discharge pressures. The “S” in AHS stands from Simplex, meaning the drive pressure is transferred to the medium in a ration of 1:1.

Wilden: AODD Pumps Now Available in Aluminum

Wilden_Advanced_FIT-PS420-PS430The 420/430 Advanced FIT pumps have been specifically designed to be direct replacements for existing 38 mm (1-1/2”) pump installations. The release of the aluminum 420/430 Advanced FIT pumps now completes the Advanced FIT pump line, which is available in 38 mm (1-1/2”) through 76 mm (3”) sizes with either aluminum or stainless steel wetted path options.

Almatec: AODD Pumps receive 1935/2004/EC certification

Almatec, manufacturer of sanitary air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps, is pleased to announce that its plastic and metal AODD pumps are now 1935/2004/EC-compliant.

1935/2004/EC is the common name for European Commission Regulation No. 1935/2004, which is the European safety standard for materials that come into contact with food during the production process. With this certification, Almatec AODD pumps are now available for use in a wide variety of sanitary and hygienic applications that involve food contact.

Wilden: High pressure AODD with energy-efficient air distribution system

Wilden_SHIFT-High-Pressure_familyThe two new 1-1/2-inch (38 mm) high pressure bolted metal AODD pump models feature redesigned liquid paths to reduce internal friction to maximize output and efficiency. They are shear sensitive, dry-run capable, externally serviceable, completely submersible and comply with all CE and Atex requirements. These pumps also come equipped with the Pro-Flo Shift air distribution system.

The two new high pressure pump models are

  • the HS400S, which is available in aluminum, and
  • the HS430S, which comes in stainless steel.

Wilden: Stallion AODD pumps now available with Pro-Flo

Wilden_PS_Stallion_groupThe Stallion series are developed for pumping fluids with high solid content. A shock-absorbing polyurethane screen base absorbs the impact from constant assault by solid particles. The pumps also feature a large internal clearance and flow-through design to keep the pump from clogging; an integrated suction strainer; and an altered ball/seat check valve assembly. These pumps are made for rugged utilitarian applications that require a robust design.

Stallion pumps now also come equipped with the Wilden Pro-Flo Shift ADS.

Wilden: Air Distribution System now in Stainless Steel & Plastic

  • 316 stainless steel and
  • polypropylene plastic materials of construction,
  • joining the original aluminum and nickel-plated aluminum offerings.

The introduction of the stainless steel and plastic options allows Wilden AODD pumps to be offered for a greater number of applications, including

  • sanitary (food & beverage, personal care products and pharmaceuticals),
  • hazardous chemicals and
  • corrosive environments.

Almatec: AODD pumps increase safety and flexibility

Almatec_CXRThe new CXR Series AODD pump is an extension of Almatec’s CX Series family of general-purpose pumps. CXR Series pumps are available in four sizes: 10, 20, 50, and 130. The main benefit of the CXR pumps is their design flexibility, which allows them to be used for a number of different low- to medium-duty applications, such as a drum pump.

All CXR models can easily be converted from ball to cylinder valves, and vice versa. Incorporating ball valves is ideal for liquids containing particles, while cylinder valves are ideal for transfer applications requiring superior suction lift.
