The dry self-priming pumps of the BA series are now also available in stainless steel 316. These pumps are made for a variety of industrial applications, particularly with corrosive environments such as offshore or mining which demand high performance materials.

The stainless steel casting parts are typically available from stock for the most popular BA models. This allows the stainless steel pumps to be quickly assembled with a diesel or electric motor in a sound attenuated canopy or in an open frame.

Kirloskar: New wastewater pump series

Thursday, February 5th, 2015 von admin

i-NS PumpKBL’s (Kirloskar Brothers Limited) new “i-NS” pump is a non-clog sewage submersible pump designed for dewatering function in the

  • water & wastewater treatment industries,
  • sewage,
  • building & construction and
  • other allied segments.

The compact size of the pump helps in minimizing submergence, and it comes with an aesthetically-improved design for maintenance-free work.

BBA: Environmentally friendly high flow pump unit

Monday, February 2nd, 2015 von admin

BA-C500 Boskalis  (2)Boskalis Technical Service Nederland manages several mobile pump units with high and ultra high flows. Boskalis clearly prefers environmentally friendly equipment and has very specific requirements from their pumps which include;

  • The pump must have a minimum capacity of 5000 m³/hr and a pressure in excess of 3 bar;
  • Excellent suction capabilities (NPSHr curve) and suitable for use as a dewatering pump;
  • High fuel efficiency combined with the lowest exhaust emissions;
  • The pump unit should fit into a 20 ft. container for easy transport;
  • The maximum weight should be no more than 12,000 kilograms.

KSB: New powerful in-line pumps for building services applications

Monday, February 10th, 2014 von admin

KSB_Etaline“Energy-efficiency was the development engineers’ number one focus” as KSB annouced.”They worked intensively with CFD (computational fluid dynamics) for flow simulation to optimise the hydraulic shape of suction elbow, volute casing and impellers. All pump sets now meet the requirements of the ErP Directive, effective as from 2015, and their suction characteristics exceed those of the previous pump generation.”

The new Etaline type series comprises 22 pump sizes and its maximum motor rating is 55 kW. The maximum flow rate is 700 m³/h with the maximum discharge head possible being 95 metres.

Atlas Copco adds Weda 04S to its line-up of small rental and construction pumps

Friday, September 13th, 2013 von admin

atlasThe Weda 04S is a 0.4 kW on-site sludge / trash pump with a maximum flow of 270 lpm and a maximum head of 10.5m. It complements the line of under 1 kW single-phase drainage, sludge and residual pumps released last year.

The Weda 04S has a cast iron vortex impeller that is able to pump dirty water and handle solids up to 25 mm in size. This makes the pump a practical choice for dewatering sewage in flooded building basements or on construction sites, removing rainwater from sandy or muddy ditches and excavation sites, or getting rid of unwanted water during maintenance of utility manholes.

The pump has a triple seal system (double mechanical shaft seals constructed from silicon carbide with an additional lip seal). Thermal protection gives the motor additional reliability and run-dry capabilities. The pump has only 10 kg.
