Wilden: 76 mm (3”) Full-Stroke Integral Piston Diaphragm

Wilden_FSIP_DiaphragmsThe new 76 mm (3”) Full-Stroke Integral Piston Diaphragm (FSIPD) is made for use in Wilden’s Saniflo FDA pumps, as well as its Original, Advanced and Advanced FIT series of air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps. These diaphragms are well suited for hygienic applications because they are constructed of food-grade Santoprene™, and the integral piston is completely encapsulated within the TPE material, meaning there is no outer piston that can trap fluid and particles.

The result is a durable, highly cleanable diaphragm assembly that features a large integral piston and a full-stroke shaft that enables it to maintain the same stroke length as conventional Wilden diaphragms. The diaphragm’s full-stroke design increases product displacement per stroke, which translates into improved suction lift, greater flow rates and higher efficiencies than experienced when using pumps that operate with reduced stroke diaphragms.

WB_HidraxHTThe new Hidrax™ HT thrust bearings are developed for high-temperature applications in electric submersible pumps. These pad bearings can sustain unit loads of 8 MPa (1160 psi) at oil bath temperatures up to 300°C (572°F).

Technological advances in steam-assisted gravity drainage are increasing operating temperatures and placing increased demands on the thrust bearings located in the motor seal/protector section of the electric submersible pumps string.

RotexAt the Rotex® S-H the hubs are mechanically separated by „cracking“ on purpose. An uneven surface with a positive fit is the result making sure for an exact position of the two halves during assembly. The contoured, uneven cracked surfaces ensure an ideal centering of the hub halves. This guarantees that the hub or the connection of the two hub halves, respectively, is not weakened by the separation by cracking. The „cracked“ hub is screwed in place in block assembly and makes sure that during operation there is no negative impact on the strength of the coupling.

Even if there is no line-of-sight between the base station and the sensor units, the wireless signals are transmitted error-free. A new firmware update elevates this wireless online condition monitoring system to a higher plane. With its wireless technology, it fits for applications, which require the wireless transfer of vibration measurement data over long distances. The new firmware update includes several powerful new features:

  • Sending status and alarm emails,
  • supporting Modbus TCP,

Metallized Carbon’s carbon-graphite vanes, rotors, and end plates are used in such dry running applications as automotive anti-smog pumps and gasoline vapor pick up pumps, breathable air pumps and vacuum pumps.
