ProMinent: Metering pumps optimise cathode materials for lithium batteries

Thursday, September 28th, 2017 von admin

The most important storage materials for lithium ion batteries are lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxides, or NCM for short. Various manufacturers in China have specialised in the production of the ternary precursors needed for this. Their appearance, particle size, size distribution, declared purity, beat density and many other characteristics are important to determining the properties of the sintered cathode end product. The manufacturers needed to find reliable and accurate metering pumps and systems that were able to meet the stringent quality requirements of manufacturing ternary precursors.

Klaus Union: New magnetically coupled twin screw pump acc. API 676

Thursday, September 21st, 2017 von admin

With the proven Klaus Union magnetic drive and a modular design, the pump manufacturer offers a highly flexible and robust seal-less magnetically coupled twin screw pump: the SLM DSP-2C. Due to its seal-less design and leakage-free operation, it is especially suitable for applications in the chemical and petrochemical industry.

Robust design and leakage-free operation has been the focus in developing the new twin screw pump series SLM DSP-2C. For this purpose, the manufacturer takes advantage of its established modular pump system, which has proven itself for many years in the complete magnet drive pump range consisting of

Andritz: Irrigation pumps to India

Friday, September 15th, 2017 von admin

Andritz has received an order from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd. (MEIL), Hyderabad, India, to equip three pumping stations with a total of 27 vertical volute pumps near the village of Kaleshwaram in the Indian state of Telangana. The order value is more than 60 million euros. Start-up is scheduled for June 2018.

One pumping station conveys 660 m³ of water per second from the Pranahita River and then through other pumping stations into a reservoir. This reservoir will ensure a sustainable supply of water for agricultural irrigation.

HNPM: New modular micro annular gear pump

Friday, September 1st, 2017 von admin

This micro annular gear pump allows accurate displacement volumes from 100 μl to 1,000 ml in a metering time of 200 milliseconds up to one minute. It also covers a flow rate range of 0.2 to 1,152 ml/min. Different materials are available for wetted parts. The pump operates with high dynamics, low pulsation and excellent precision in delivery as well as high repeatability in metering. The pump is suitable for low to high viscosity liquids and a differential pressure of up to 10 bar. Other pump series are available for applications with different requirements.

The pump is supplied with lateral fluid connections and a pump bearing bracket or with a so-called M4 version. The manifold version M4 has frontal fluid connections and allows assembly to a manifold which is supplied by HNPM or provided by the customer.
