HNPM: Compact dispense module for analytical instrumentation

Monday, February 15th, 2016 von admin

hnpm_dispensemodulThe central component of the dispense module is a micro annular gear pump (mzr-pump), that is already working very precise in laboratory automation and diagnostics. mzr-pumps are characterized by low pulse flow and a service life of several years. By using these rotary positive displacement pumps, pipetting of the smallest liquid amounts during the dosing process is possible as well as rinsing with high flow rates.

The size of the module corresponds to half the syringe pumps format. It combines pump, filter and valve. With the help of a microcontroller the module can process the same programming commands as a syringe pump.

KSB: New drinking water circulators

Monday, February 15th, 2016 von admin

160127_CalioTherm_0033The new high-efficiency circulators of the Calio-Therm S NC series are maintenance-free glandless pumps designed for pumping drinking water in closed circuits, which are commonly found in single-family or two-family houses as well as in larger building projects.
Like the other Calio pumps the new circulators offer a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor to achieve top efficiencies. With one-touch operation the flow rate can be adjusted via three speed levels. In the event of a blocked rotor the motor stops automatically, and a fault is indicated. Three LEDs display the operating status. The screwed connections are available in dimension Rp ½ internal thread (EN 10266) or G 1 ¼ external thread (DIN ISO 228). The maximum flow rate equals 0.7 m³/h. The pump’s maximum head is 1.0 m. The drinking water temperature should measure between +5 °C and +65 °C.

Oerlikon Leybold: High vacuum system for researchers

Monday, February 8th, 2016 von admin

pic OLV TURBOLAB 1Turbolab are plug-and-play high vacuum pump systems This new generation is built on one basic design platform with the opportunity to create several different variants. The systems are compact, fully assembled, and ready-to-operate. Different configurations cover the individual vacuum demands of a wide range of applications in the R&D and analytical market. Due to the oil-free hybrid bearing design of the new Turbovac i/iX turbo pumps featured in these systems, and by using different dry compressing backing pump combinations, hydrocarbon free pump system operation is guaranteed.
