Mouvex upgraded A Series for chemical, food, oil & gas

mouvex1These eccentric disc pumps got a variety of upgrades to meet growing global demand, including the implementation of ISO PN16/ANSI 150 flanges. The A Series has also doubled its maximum differential pressure from 5 bar (72 psi) to 10 bar (145 psi), enabling it to be used in the safe transfer of viscous, non-lubricating, volatile or delicate fluids in a variety of new applications.


New Ruhrpumpen Plant in Brazil

The manufacturer of centrifugal pumps has announced the opening of their new 7,500 m² plant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which includes 671 m² of office space, a Test Lab (up to 6,000 HP), and a Service Center. With the recent opening of this facility in Rio de Janeiro, Ruhrpumpen now has eight plants strategically situated on four continents. Furthermore, the company has a wide network of Service Centers with plans for a new center in Antofagasta, Chile.

PSG Names Thuerig President of Newly Created PSG Europe

PSG1PSG Europe has been recently created to help PSG capitalize on its European footprint by leveraging its size, capabilities and synergies within the region. This structure will also enable PSG to streamline its processes and share best practices in Europe. PSG announced that Ueli Thuerig has been appointed President of PSG Europe. Thuerig, formerly Chief Executive Officer of PSG operating company Maag, will report to PSG President Dean Douglas.
